Our Story
In the vibrant heart of South Sydney, Soiree Cabaret Productions burst onto the scene in 2004, originally known as Evocative Agency. Driven by a fiery passion to elevate the live entertainment industry, we embarked on a mission to outshine the ordinary and create mesmerising experiences. Our journey began with a simple yet powerful vision: to innovate, integrate, and invigorate the world of events.
At Soiree Cabaret Productions, we saw an untapped opportunity to bridge the gap between talented artists and the stages that awaited their crafts. We observed venues thirsting for vibrant audiences and viable entertainment that could light up the night. Tackling these challenges hasn't always been smooth sailing, but it has been an exhilarating adventure that fuels our dedication every day.
Over the years, we've expanded our horizons and honed our expertise, becoming a cornerstone in the industry. Founder
Kara Zmatiq
Owner and founder, Kara Zmatiq (aka. Braeden Rhys), Australia's Best Live Singing Drag Queen (as seen on Australia's Got Talent) has embarked on this entrepreneurial journey with few misgivings; and is now a 15-year industry veteran as a singer, cabaret artist and production show director.
Braeden says, “I am passionate about live events, the energy and buzz of excitement when I am on stage and truly live for the applause - as an entertainer and professional event producer, the stage is my life.”
We have gathered together an impressive team of skilled professionals and brought them together under the Soiree Cabaret Productions banner. The many successful live events we organise and produce, all around Sydney, the Southern Highlands, Hunter Valley, Newcastle, Goulburn and Canberra are like stepping stones on the Soiree Cabaret Productions journey.

Manager, Patrick Glanville (aka. United Culture), is well known as a multi award winning businessman, entertainment enthusiast and showman within the fashion, hair and beauty, commercial and award show arena with over 20 years in the fashion business, Patrick is will connected and a force to be reckoned with across the Southern Highlands with extensive networks and connections.
